Shadow of Fear is an integrating conversion Mod to the Microsoft and Digital Anvil Futeristic Space Simulation Game called Freelancer. The physical Freelancer content was kept untouched while everything else was remodded. Additional, several new Enviroments was integrated into the Game. This way the player will meet known Places to indetify with but also explore much new content. Shadow of Fear is based on 88'Flak. Nearly 4000 additional hours was invested into the mod, not counting the thousands of modding hours 88'Flak allready contains. The technical achievments of '88Flak was carfully sustained and enhanced by new, perfectly matching and integrated content, using "the Freelancer way" to be explored. Shadow of Fear for Freelancer comes with four new Sectors, hundreds of new Stations, new Planets, many new Ships of all classes, a reworked and well balanced enviroment, stunning new effects, new weapon-, shield- and ship classes, many new commodities to trade, wrecks to explore, more than 70 buildable unique items, npc wingman support, bots hunting and helping you, a new player protection System, cloaking devices, player dockable carriers, player stations, banking system, bounty hunt, item transfer, factions to choose as yours (Alien Races included), Licence's and tokens and last but not least - everything is HD - which includes a fully working 3D sound enviroment with resampled sound files included. Version 8842 RC4 is mainly adding community wanted features and reworked nearly one GB of Files. delete or rename the savegame folder of the former Freelancer Installation under My Documents/My Games/Freelancer
